Ahhh, just noticed in the review that you have to be lvl 17 to use martyrdom. Also towards the end of the gametrailer review it says that the maximum lvl we can reach at the moment will be lvl 16. Grrrrrr

I thought it was level 60

I couldn't make my mind up if it was level 16 or 60 so I asked Taz what he thought and he said 16(not blaming you Taz as I thought it was 16). I am watching it again now to make sure. These American accents aren't very clear tbh.

Was it in the Ign review or Gametrailers? I have seen so many I can't remember what was what.

EDIT: It is 60 but it sounds very much like he says 16, phew. It was about 10secs from the end of the Ign review.

I think its definitely 60 mate, read a lot of posts on other forums complaining that people who got the game early are allready upto 20+.

Was that on the ps3 or on the 360 shoki and is that in the US or over here? I hope we are on the EU servers and can filter by region. If not we will get owned by the Americans who got it Monday.

Why they can't just release it worldwide at the same time I don't know.

Barmelo, looks like we may need the extra days play to get K/d back up from those that got it earlier than us. Least we can get the Game/Gamestation Hmv and Play guys when they get it Friday.lol

That was in the US, apparently the servers are worldwide but i'm hoping there will be some kind of filter but i'm not too hopefull as one of the developers has said on neogaf that the multiplayer system works identically on both systems, 360 does'nt have region filters so if it is identical then i dont think the ps3 will have it either In the beta it was really easy to get ranked up, infact i think i got ranked up the first game i played, and there is going to be so many new players online that perhaps it wont matter too much, and if all fails we can just throw Barmelo on the other team again and use him for target practise

Or enemy location as demoed on R6V, to good effect too.lol

Speaking of enemy location i got my numbers wrong while i was telling about kills in a row, 3 kills and you call in a drone that shows where the enemy is for a short while, 5 kills gets you an airstrike and 7 kills gets you a helicopter gunship, which by the way give you mucho xp points if you down one, also when you fire your weapon you are shown on the enemy radar and vice versa, so randomly shooting up the scenery not usually the best idea

Going to be online for rest of the evening if you want to join me. It's a good idea to rank up asap so we can play other modes. Until you get to lvl 7 you have to play tdm's so the quicker you rank up the better.

Enjoyed the games earlier, but i'm a little concerned about the ammount of lag i was getting in games

I haven't had any yet tbh. Might do between 6-12 though.


EDIT: For this game I would say Skype is essential, without teamwork you will find it very hard to stay alive for long. Anyone playing tonight? if so make sure your laptops/headsets are charged.

Sorry guys but my connection was giving me a major ball ache, game became unplayable with me only showing 1 red square in my on my connection status. Managed to connect to speedtest.net through the ps3 and the tests were fine, but ingame something just not right. Bloody frustrating

Sole when you and Barmelo come online tomorrow I will make a party and invite you both. I will get us on some of the games that have more points. Usually until you reach level 7 you have to play TDM's but if your in my party you can play any game I can. At the moment I have found that domination (think conquest on R6V) and HQ give you the most points. You get xp for completing challenges as you play for example one of the first is to kill 25 people with the M16.

You get xp for completeing that and also a reflex scope, if you then complete further challenges with the weapon you will unlock an acog.

HQ is good, it is intense and the scores can be as big as about 500 points, which would take you up a couple of ranks straight away. Really looking forward to everyone getting this game. Taz, Shoki, The Hoff and I have played quite a few games today and it is great but it does need comms.

P.S There is a perk in the game which allows you to listen in at the other teams voice comms. It won't do our opponents any good though.

Only got my copy today cos i forgot i had it delivered to my other house so didnt get to play it yesterday

There must be some pretty lonely people out there, there are already guys with rank 55 etc! I know it doesnt take all that long to rank up but thats just ridiculous, they mustve been playing non-stop since they got it

Played 3 or 4 games this morning to get my rank up a few notches, best score so far in a TDM is 350 which isnt too bad considering im still stuck with the shitty 3-round burst m16 and no scope lol

Gonna play through the 1P story a bit this afternoon and will be online later tonight for some MP games with you guys

Well another apology for the constant drops from games, online is completely shafted for me and after spending most of the day scouring the internet for an answer and messing with the settings on my router, i still dont have a clue.
